Dress code: Proper golf attire from golf apparel manufacturers for men and women.

The 6880 yard, par 72 Golf Course at Picacho Hills is sure to impress you and leave you wanting more. Pro Turf Magazine described our course's lush blue grass fairways and bent grass greens as follows: "Picture an emerald lying on a mound of sand…dark green, shining jewel in striking contrast with it’s surroundings. That’s the first impression of the Picacho Hills Country Club golf course."
Don't let the yardage fool you, though. Many of the approaches to the well-bunkered greens are uphill and require more club than your sky caddie may be reading! The greens are sporty also, with subtle breaks toward the Rio Grande that appear to be going uphill. In all, your round at Picacho Hills Country Club will feature great golf, superior course conditioning and the pinnacle of customer service. We are truly the top of the hill in all golf categories in Las Cruces.
But what good is a great course if you can’t play on it, right? Well, unlike overcrowded courses throughout the Southwest, our course permits members to play almost whenever they wish. Also, during an average year, inclement weather closes the course for less than three days.
Our weather and superior course are two good reasons why we are often chosen to host many prominent events: The Sun Country Amateur and Mid-Amateur, two US Open Qualifiers, an AJGA Nike All Star Classic, two Sun Country Challenge Cups, and the Sun Country Senior Section Championship and Professional National Championship qualifier.
